- Kiln dried sand is used to strengthen block driveway and patio paving.
- Dried Kiln sand is used between the joints of paving blocks.
- Keep the sand dry and use when the block paving is dry.
- Sand must be dry when used because the jointing sand needs to fall between the gaps of the paving blocks to stabilize and strengthen.
- The amount of dry sand needed is dependent on the size of the joints and the depth of the paving.
- For a standard 50mm block paving you are most likely to sand an area of 15 - 20 square meters with a maxi bag of kiln dried sand.
